Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dr. O'Neil relocated to Virginia with her husband, Francisco, who had family in the area.

She was drawn to Valley Smile Care because of its strong emphasis on patient-centered care and the warm, welcoming environment. She believes in treating every patient like family—listening carefully, explaining clearly, and always showing kindness—which aligns perfectly with our team’s philosophy.

She's particularly interested in restorative and preventive dentistry, especially when it comes to treating special-needs patients. She also loves working with children and families, helping establish strong oral health habits early in life. She has more than 18 years of experience treating patients with orofacial pain and TMJ problems.

In her free time, Dr. O'Neil enjoys cooking, biking, swimming, volunteer work, and just recently published a children's book about bedtime routines and dental health!
